Naledi's story

After a motor vehicle accident left a 12-year-old RoadCover member with back injuries, her family faced unexpected medical expenses without access to Road Accident Fund compensation. The Foundation reimbursed the immediate treatment costs and funded the specialist assessments needed to ensure she required no further medical intervention, easing both the financial burden and the family's peace of mind.

After being injured in a road accident, Thabo required ongoing physiotherapy even though he could not pursue a Road Accident Fund claim. Understanding the pressure that unexpected medical expenses place on families, the RoadCover Care Foundation stepped in to provide assistance, allowing Thabo to focus on his recovery instead of worrying about how to pay the bills.

This year, the Tour de Garden Route became about more than breathtaking views and beautiful kilometres. For every kilometre cycled, RoadCover contributed R10 towards the RoadCover Care Foundation, with many of our cyclists making additional generous donations. Every kilometre became an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
